Time Limit
All participants in each race must cross the finish line before 3:00 p.m. Once this time limit has passed, the runner will be automatically disqualified and removed from the race. From that time onwards, the organization will begin dismantling the entire safety setup along the course.
For the Marathon, there will be cutoff times at the following points:
- KM 20: 11:00 a.m. (refreshment station in the Santa Inés area)
- KM 38: 1:45 p.m. (refreshment station in the Cap Nonó area)
- FINISH: 3:00 p.m.
Any runner who does not pass these checkpoints by the specified time will be disqualified by the judges or organization staff (their bib will be removed) and transported to the finish area in an organization vehicle.
For the Half Marathon, there will be an intermediate cutoff at KM 17.5 at 12:00 p.m. (refreshment station in the Cap Nonó area). Any runner who fails to pass by the specified time will be disqualified by the judges or organization staff, have their bib removed, and be taken to the finish area in an organization vehicle.
Any runner who, after being disqualified for missing a cutoff, decides to continue the course does so entirely at their own risk, releasing the organization from any responsibility for any incident or accident that may occur after disqualification, and knowing that the safety setup and aid stations will have been removed.
