ABOUT THE EVENT

IBIZA TRAIL MARATÓN
It is the 17th edition of the IBIZA TRAIL MARATHON, a benchmark event in trail running at the Balearic, national, and international levels.
Last year, three new XL distances were introduced: Starter, Half Marathon, and Marathon, offering routes with great variations, including diverse sections, technical segments, runnable stretches, and areas with significant elevation gain.The goal is to allow runners to fully enjoy the race and the diverse landscapes of our island.
With the IBIZA TRAIL MARATHON FESTIVAL concept, the sporting event will be the centerpiece, but it will also be accompanied by a series of events, offers, and activities to fully enjoy sports, music, and gastronomy. Everything will be centered around this race, aiming to become a truly UNIQUE experience.

For beginners or those looking to enjoy the race without too much difficulty. It combines a challenging start with significant elevation gain and a second section featuring spectacular views of the Sant Antoni de Portmany coastline.

Half Marathon – 28km
Starting from the promenade, the route ascends through Sa Talaia, reaching 600 meters of elevation gain at km 10.5 (first aid station). From km 15, the course returns along the coast, offering stunning views of coves and the sea, with a final aid station at km 21 before reaching the finish line.

Marathon – 48km
The route follows the half marathon course until km 14, then diverges towards Santa Inés and Es Broll, featuring technical sections and breathtaking views. At km 34, it rejoins the return path to Sant Antoni, with less elevation gain but still some technical segments. The final stretch is perfect for enjoying the race before reaching the finish line.
